People Magazine: Savannah Guthrie & Michael Feldman's Wedding : Destination Wedding Photographers

We absolutely love all our wonderful clients. They believe in our art and allow us to photograph them in an artistic photojournalism manner that showcases what truly took place in their lives at their most memorable moments.

As a wedding photographer, the trend is to create a fad or mimic the style that is popular that year. This wedding as a representation of our work is proof that we who choose to fall into the background and accept that our job is to tell the story as it unfolds, and in the end present images with real emotion, a timelessness, and a genuine quality that can not be duplicated with fancy edits and posed interaction. Granted, there are a few select moments that demand direction, and others that are our artistic vision, but the story should remain unaltered. Instead, by resisting the urge to smother people, results in the best captured moments. Period.

We were incredibly honored to photograph another couple that is now forever connected to all our clients and our lives. Savannah Guthrie and Michael Feldman chose us to be a part of their very private and memorable wedding weekend. They wanted us to just document them the way we normally do. We couldn’t imagine photographing in any other manner. We choose to photograph in an honest and real manner. We never direct what happens. The couple does. We want the couple to remember how it actually unfolded. We were thrilled to know that this couple fits in with our connection of clients…soulful, sweet, kind, sincere, real and so much fun. We couldn’t ask for anything more.

An exclusive view of their wedding is featured in this week’s issue of People Magazine. Their wedding was planned and designed by the fabulous Love This Day Events at the Ritz-Carlton Dove Mountain in Tucson, Arizona. Desert sunsets are just incredible. Their ceremony was at the perfect golden light in the Arizona desert. Their emotion was palpable.
