I LOVE my clients.  I get so fond of my clients and for some reason we all quickly become friends.  I love that so much.  I have had fun with all the sessions photographing their family in Denver and I was recently introduced to the newest addition.  Big sisters are the best and I know his sister is going to do a great job helping take care of him.  She wasn’t so sure about him, but I now know she has warmed up to him a lot.

This is my absolute favorite image I have ever taken.  I feel a connection to it as a mom with two children.  This was not staged.  It is real life.  Real life with children.  Real life that does not stop to pose.  Real life is hard, is beautiful, is fun and is just plain unexpected. My favorite photographs are ones that tell a story with just one click.  I am so grateful that my lovely client allowed me to put this image here.  I love this family as they are amazing clients (that have become friends) that have trusted me to take their images again and again.  That is the best compliment ever and has made it where because of that they allow me to capture images I love just as much as they do.

Females know how to multitask so well.  Why not play dollhouse with your new brother?  Duh!

I can’t wait to show more photographs from this session. It was a great lifestyle portrait session of a newborn and his amazing family in Denver, Colorado.

There is always a little jealousy when a new baby becomes the focus…especially when the first baby was a puppy.  It was funny to watch Izzy the pup pout without the attention, but so adorable in showing her new brother some love.   View their maternity session here.  This is their sweet new baby at two months old.  He carries on his late uncle’s name as his middle name and even though he was never able to meet his uncle, I know that they will always be connected with more than just a name.  His uncle was the sweetest soul, so I know he is watching over his nephew all the time protecting him. I can’t wait to watch this little one grow.
